"I was taken to both gymnastics and trampoline classes at the Black Lion Leisure Centre, Chatham, Kent at the age of about 3 or 4. When the Jumpers Rebound Centre was built I transferred to there and within a short space of time I was asked to compete.
I've been training and competing from the age of 6 and have qualified for the British Championships every year since I was 9 years old. I started doing DMT (Double Mini Trampoline) when I was about 12.
Synchro is all about timing - you have to get right otherwise it looks untidy. Ideally you need to be of a similar build and height as your partner. There is a lot of concentration involved because as well as making sure you are in time with your partner, you have to carry out your routine properly too.
I train for six days a week and each day is different. Usually I am on the trampoline from 7pm until 8:30pm on four evenings.
I really enjoy the buzz that you get after a good training session, and during competitions.
Of course, my main ambition has to be selection for the London Olympics in 2012. As well as London, I will still be young enough to compete in 2016 at Rio de Janeiro."
